Steve Shlemon Steven T. Shlemon was appointed president of Carrabba’s Italian Grill in March 2000. From August 1995 to March 2000, he was vice president of operations taking Carrabba’s from 15 restaurants to over 120. He began his career with Outback Steakhouse in April 1990 as one of the company’s first franchise partners, responsible for the development of north Texas. Prior to Outback, Mr. Shlemon ran Dalts American Grill for TGI Fridays, a chain of 18 restaurants from 1987 through 1990.
