Cheeseburger In Paradise Celebrates Receiving Top
Honors
Tampa, Florida – May 30, 2006 –Cheeseburger
In Paradise was recently honored as one of six “Hot
Concepts!” by Nation’s Restaurant News
(NRN) annual program that recognizes forward-thinking
companies with emerging growth potential. Selected
by the editors of NRN, each winner must be a clearly-defined
concept that appeals to consumers and positions the
company at the leading edge of foodservice. In addition
to Cheeseburger In Paradise, this year's winners included
Pandini's, RedBrick Pizza, Seasons 52, Spicy Pickle
and Summer Shack. The “Hot! Again” winner
was Johnny Rockets.
The NRN honor followed closely behind recognition
recently received by Cheeseburger In Paradise when
it was honored as the “2006 Best Chain Signature
Drink Program” by Cheers magazine. Well renowned
for its active and fun Tiki Bar, the restaurant’s
bartenders serve up cool cocktails with distinctive
island flair – complete with signature “Garnimals”
(exotic fruit garnishes) and mini sunglasses. The
extensive Bar Log features a wide variety of drinks
that feature special frozen concoctions made from
scratch daily using freshly squeezed juices of the
finest of exotic fruits available. Cold draft beer
and wine is also available.
First introduced in Indianapolis in August of 2002,
a visit to Cheeseburger In Paradise is like an escape
to an island fantasy. As singer/songwriter/author
Jimmy Buffett said, “everybody has some kind
of version of paradise,” enjoying time away
from the real world, is what Cheeseburger In Paradise
is all about.

Beyond the famed traditional cheeseburger and signature
mini cheeseburgers, the restaurant features an assorted
cuisine that includes traditional American favorites,
fresh fish dishes, and house specialties inspired

In Paradise has also recently unveiled a number of
new menu items. Among the new offerings are the St.
Bart’s Citrus Chicken, Black Bear’s Shrimp,
and Shrimp Po’ Boy Wrap. A new burger, the BBQ
Cheddar Burger, rounds out the list of 6 already distinctively
different burger choices. Cayman Carrot Cake and Havana
Banana Chocolate Chip Cake have been added to the
“Some Kind of a Sensuous Treat” dessert
listings.
