Lindon Richardson Lindon D. Richardson was instrumental in the design of the first several Outback Steakhouse restaurants while working as an outside consultant. He joined the company as the Designer and FF&E Purchaser in February 1990. Mr. Richardson was elected Chief Designer in February 1992, Vice President of Design/Equipment in April 2000 and Senior Vice President of Design/Equipment in April 2003. Prior to joining Outback, he was a Senior Designer for PRS Kingston from 1986 – 1990. Mr. Richardson began his design career as a draftsman with S.E. Rykoff in Boston, Massachusetts in 1985.
